Our Mission
The mission of RED-C is to empower families in the spiritual formation of their members as they grow in holiness.
RED-C Ministries encompasses the work of RED-C Catholic Radio & Media, Victory Sports, and RED-C Events
The RED-C Apostolate will communicate Christian truth as expressed in Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and by the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Our FocusThe focus of the apostolate is to assist families in the integration of the Catholic Faith within the context of their daily lives.
RED-C Ministries is intended to be a supplement to the primary religious education done in the home or in the parish.

What does RED-C Ministries Do?Radio & Online Media:
In 2010, we started our first radio station, and have now expanded to a total of 5 stations across Central Texas.

Victory Sports:
RED-C Ministries launched Victory Sports to help accomplish its mission of helping families integrate Catholic teaching into the context of daily life.
Victory Sports is an association of Catholic sports leagues bringing together parish-based teams to teach children, grades 1-6, the beauty of the Faith through the beauty of sport.
Teachings on virtues, saints, sacraments, and more are incorporated right into the coaching guidelines to help children engage with, internalize, and find joy in the lessons of their faith!
They learn valuable life lessons, then immediately go and put them into practice.
Teams compete in boys' football, girls' volleyball, boys' & girls' soccer, and boys' & girls' basketball. This healthy environment of competition brings joy to the faith of young believers, strengthens families, and unites Catholics to foster strong community."Athletic Excellence and Catholic Virtue"
In-Person Educational Events:
We desire to form families in person, where life is lived. We have an annual Family Retreat as well as a Family Banquet every single year. We'll bring in a speaker, and you can bring your whole family. All are welcome.

But what happened to RED-C "Apostolate"?RED-C Apostolate is still our legal name. But with the approval of the Diocese of Austin, we have changed our common name to RED-C Ministries. This change came about for several reasons:
- Even in the Catholic world, the word "apostolate" is used so infrequently that it was difficult for many people to know who we are and what we do.
- All of the things we offer at RED-C are ministries for the domestic church, so if we were going to change our organization's name, RED-C Ministries felt like the most natural shift.
- We wanted to emphasize the MINISTRIES that make up the entirety of RED-C. We are more than just "that local Catholic radio station." RED-C Catholic Radio is still essential to our ministry, but we are also pouring time and talent into Victory Sports, our annual Family Retreat, podcasts, YouTube, and more. Radio is how we started, but RED-C encompasses more than that now.
Our mission remains the same: to assist families in the integration of the Catholic Faith into their daily lives. We want to help restore not only a devotion to our Lord and His one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, but also a sense of cultural Catholicism. We want to help build the "village" that many families seek; we want to see the Faith interwoven into the fabric of our communities.
